Welcome.
I am a cisgender heterosexual Scottish, Irish, German Australian who grew up on Wandi Wandandian country, the third living child and first daughter of a dairy farmer father and artistic mother, living and working on Turrbal country, in Meanjin, married with three adult children. I became a holistic therapist to share the hope, knowledge, experience, practices and possibilities that transformed my life and allow me to enjoy flow in my life.
After training and working as a nurse, I decided to focus on preventative approaches to health and went to university to better understand the human condition and the impact of nature and nurture systems on wellbeing. I completed courses in anatomy, exercise physiology, sociology, psychology, philosophy, and education.
I've since worked as a researcher, barista, university tutor and teaching assistant, home tutor for refugees and migrants, a support teacher for children with learning and physical disabilities, academic support in a holistic counselling training program, been an administrator of a women's support network, coach, manager, secretary and registrar of a sports club, member of numerous committees, and provided support for people living on the street, fleeing domestic violence and living in a refuge.

Witnessing the detrimental impact of stress and trauma on the health and wellbeing of individuals, families and communities, including my own, I could no longer resist embarking on a healing journey of my own. Chronic fatigue, anxiety, depression, panic attacks, grief and loss were not new to me. The experiential learnings, practices and peer group support, in addition to pschoanalytic and neurobioligcal courses I've completed, have helped me to better understand and become more accepting of who I am, of what was, of what is, and of what will be. I am now more able to show up in the world, more often, authentically and openly. Consequently, I now feel lighter, brighter, calmer, clearer, more present, patient, confident, compassionate, creative, caring, and more connected to myself and others.

As I've continued to increase my knowledge and practice of mind, body and spirit approaches, such as mindfulness, meditation, self-compassion, Compassionate Enquiry, EFT and Internal Family Systems, I've become more resilient, more self aware and better able to regulate my nervous system and tap into my inner strength, support and intuition. My capacity to respond to life's challenges, to be with physical and emotional pain, and to perform to the best of my abilities with grace, curiosity and open heartedness, continue to develop, as well as be tested.
My offer is to meet you where you are at and hold space with non-judgemental, respectful compassion, and provide guidance and support, so you too can learn how to access your inner wisdom, enhance your capacities, and enjoy more flow in your life.
